Images are from the book "Perverse Optimist" by Tibor Kalman. Hardcover edition, 2000, Booth-Clibborn Editions.
Also, a collaboration of Kalman's work during his time as editor was used from the book: Colors: Tibor Kalman: Issues 1-13 (Hardcover) by Maira and Tibor Kalman.
The music was a fusion of the songs "U.S.S. Jimmy Lee" and "Elysian Fields" by Dan Romer and Benh Zeitlin. The songs were from the movie "Glory at Sea."

Tibor Kalman
Born in Hungary in 1949, Kalman immigrated to the United States and became a very influential graphic designer. He has worked on projects from the design of the Canadian symbol to his famous black umbrella with a blue, cloudy sky printed on the other side.
Kalman was not just a designer, he was a social activist through his art. He imposes the necessity to make a positive difference to other designers rather than just make a profit. Kalman exists as an inspiration to use one's talents for more than just a job.
